Compassionate Therapy
Debra is compassionate and non-judgemental in her approach to therapy. She strives to make each client feel safe to process their experiences and symptoms without feeling judged or misunderstood. Debra’s goal is to make therapy a journey and not a destination, not pushing clients, but walking alongside them. She does this by using insight, coping and communication skills, and mindfulness in order to help people find what they feel they need in order to heal and build a sense of wellbeing.
Debra uses an integrative approach to therapy which combines evidenced based practices with a client centered treatment model. Debra is able to provide treatment that is tailored to each client’s specific needs, personality, and goals.
Debra works to stay up to date on the leading treatment models and attends multiple trainings per year in an effort to stay relevant and effective with her work. She provides trauma informed care and has received extensive training in working with clients who suffer from PTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction, mood dysregulation, and co-occurring disorders.
Debra specializes in a depth approach to treatment from a Jungian lens.
